I stumbled on this by accident.

The photographer's website is in Japanese, but you can get the idea from all the pictures. The model is also the photographer. She sets up the tripod and will either have a friend snap the shutter or use a remote.

i have a nikonD5000 and am trying to give it that old school look. perhaps from the 70s or whatever. not quite sepia sort of that old italy touch f you will. any other tips will help imm trying to really express and find what i wanna do with my phtography.

Usually these are done during post processing. You have to get yourself familiar with a photo editing program ( Photoshop, Elements, Paint Shop Pro, etc) and learn how to use the settings to get the effect that you are looking for. Once you master one of these programs, your photo editing will become a breeze. The learning part can be long, but it's fun all the way.
