My wife and I went to the zoo and I wanted to take my D600 with my Tamron 24-70mm on it and the D7000 with the Tamron 150-600mm zoom on it but didn't want to carry both all day. I carried the D600 on me with a shoulder strap and the D7000 with the long lens like in the picture below. I have a fold up two wheel cart that I put my small camera bag on and then set my lopro case on top with my camera and lens attached in the top and it worked out very well. The picture below is just a snapshot that I took as we were leaving but you can get the idea. You could substituent a small ice chest with drinks for the camera case. When I need the D7000 I pulled it out of the case used it and then put it back in until next use.
