But this one struck me as a very nice specimen.

Did you get the 10-30 PD-Zoom? I'm pretty impressed with it on my wife's J4.

I have the 10-30 PD but I prefer the original 10-30 from my J1.

I guess I'm more used to it!

I also looked at Nikon's schematic of the 10-30 and the 10-30 PD.

The 10-30 has more elements in the lens layout and has a lot heavier body which, to me, makes for smoother zooming.

The PD seems more plasticy and flimsy. But thats just MY impression. How-ever, I have the 10-30 PD on my J1 and I use the older 10-30 as my walk around lens.

SOOC just as an experiment.



I cropped the hell out of it!

I am liking this J4 more and more as I explore it's capabilities!
