Here is a picture of my granddad, i thought the light looked really nice coming through the window and hitting his face
what do you guys think?

I like it. The wrinkles are more defined with this kind of light. Not even sure if I would have introduced any fill. Like it the way it is.

I also really like it but I might have cropped a bit tighter to take away a little space above him - but still a very nice shot

It's a great shot but I would lighten up the shadow part of his face just a tad and maybe using a white small brush create a catch light in his left eye.
