Looking for wide lens for my F2

I found this but seems expensive. https://www.keh.com/220837/nikon-35mm-f-1-4-n-non-ai-manual-focus-lens-52 I was hoping to find some quite a bit cheaper. I know it is fast and antiqueish but still seems high. Just kinda wanted to put this out there maybe get a little insight on where to buy what to buy and what to expect. Thanks

Yes, that does seem expensive. I have a 50mm/1.4 non ai that I'm going to post this weekend. That is wide as I have for older.

How much do you think you want for it?

1. What FL do you need and
2. Do you really need a lens that fast?

Nikon f/1.4 glass almost always commands a significant premium.

Consider a 28mm if you really want the fast f/1.4 or, if 35mm is the focal length you really want, drop down to f/2.8 instead. Personally, I love a 28mm prime on a full-frame body; I think it's a match made in Heaven.

Either way, though, the prices will plummet and you'll still have some excellent lenses to choose from.

I was going to sell for $75. It just sits here. Since I sold my 3100 it doesn't fit my 300 or 610. It does have a revering ring stuck on it. But, can still put filters on. Just the other way.
