Hello Everyone. I am looking for a high quality 85MM close up lens with auto focus. What suggestions do y'all have?

Thanks and have a great week.

Taken with 90mm Tamron old style.

And some with various close up filters. All handheld.

Even I am wondering why an 85mm.

If you want flat field - stamps, coins etc, then it is 60mm
If you want longer distance between object and lens then it is 105 or even 200
On a stand, you may not need AF, as you can connect the camera to a computer and then view the enlarged image for focus.
If you are stacking then a motorized macro rail, preferably with computer control is the way to go.

I have a 60 and 105 both Nikkors. I need something in between for effect. I photograph firearms professionally. Both are sharp lenses with the 105 being the sharpest of the two. I have always used Nikkors on my Nikons because I thought they were the best; however, I need a good 85MN and Nikon does not offer one.

Nikon does offer a 85mm macro lens but it is a DX lens.
