was testing the macro setting on my camera today. wasnt getting qaulity pics with it set to this mode. when i do most of my shots i use the manual mode. so i adjusted the speed to 200 and f/16 metering to spot and af to dynamic. what a difference. got some great shots. planning to get macro filters to get closer. i also used flash in shaded area DSC_1908.JPGrDSC_1934.JPGeDSC_1985.JPGaDSC_1881.JPGsDSC_1876.JPG.DSC_1975.JPG

Because the general macro setting is just that. GENERAL! Your settings are specific to the shot you are taking. You are able to take into account the light, distance, location, and or

mood. ALL of which are very specific to your needs.

Fooled ya, didn't I? You thought I was just another pretty face! :)

Don't be so serious! Only 1 person got out of life alive. You have a fantastic camera there! I know, I have one also.

But have some fun with it! Laugh! I feel like I am using some of my best stuff, and you ain't even noticing!

:) :) :)
