join movies without re-encoding

Hi,

does anyone know how to join short movies made with d3100?

Is it possible to join movies without re-encoding them?

I tried using viewNX2, It can join movies, but it takes a lot of time because of re-encoding and the file size is much bigger than the the originals summed together.

I'm not one for making movies with my Nikon, but the first thing that come to mind is to try Windows Movie Maker depending on what version you have it should be on your computer.

Windows Live Movie Maker can edit videos shot on the D3100. I use it for that and even for my Time Lapse compiling.

Windows Live Movie Maker is more stable than Windows Movie Maker and I have edited a movie, it works.
