Well, after some considerable deliberation I have traded in my D3s and picked up an 810.
I got a very good price for the D3s (more than I paid for it) and on top of that I got the £300 trade in bonus currently offered by Nikon so it was a no brainer!
So far I am delighted with the camera and I am sure that will only grow the more I use it and get used to its large files.
I currently only have the the 24-120 f4 and the 50mm AFS f1.4G as I came back to full frame after sticking primarily with micro four thirds but as I am starting to shoot more paid work in my time off I wanted to revert back to full frame again.
I am considering getting (when I can afford it) the 85mm f1.8 so would be interested to hear if there are any other 810 owners using this lens and if so what they think of it?
Here are a few of my first portraits (used my wife as a subject) to see how it performed - so far so good!
