Interesting shot and perspective Dave. Looks like the flash did a great job, since it was at 300mm, you must have been a good distance away.

Wow, I would have thought you were further away! I'd be interested to see how far the effective range is outside as fill flash. I'm hopeing to get an external flash soon for that purpose also.

Marque, the salesman at London Drugs Vernon, said about 25 in sunlight for fill. I havent tried it yet at that distance. The weather is supposed to be nice here tomorrow, so I am going to try it then.

Any other SB-600 users have any anwers to this?
