Black Flashing during Playback

Hi all,
I purchased my D5200 this past summer and thus far really enjoy it. But as of tonight, I am having a lot of trouble with playback. Anything that appears white in the photo is flashing black. The camera has not been dropped or handled incorrectly. Could anyone give me words of advice on how to fix this? Thank you, Meg

looks like you have playback set on highlight clipping
use the up down , left right wheel which gives you several options , camera settings shooting data and highlight clipping and shadow clipping good luck
