It would be rude of me to suggest this challenge and not do it myself!

SO

I am using the Nikonites list of themes with the following guidelines/changes.

1. I will do all 52 weeks, attempting to post up the pics every week but not limited to do so, but by the end of the year I will have done 52 themes.
2. I am not limiting myself to one lens, nor am I limiting myself to doing the list in order, as long as I shoot all the themes all will be good.

OK, better late than never (or while my computer screen is working at the moment!)

First entry is Gates.
I love these gates to our memorial garden, so big, imposing and when the poppies of remembrance are there, they are very poignant too. I've been wanting to shoot them at night for such a long time, but never seemed to get around to it!

Week 2/52 Chairs and Benches
I took a walk along the river with my hubby today and came across this odd looking seat carved out of an old tree.

Great start Tracey. The gates were definitely not what I was expecting and the chair, well the legs won't break.

week 4 "extreme".
My thoughts about architecture is that just because it can be designed and built, doesnt mean it should. Our local university is a prime example... some of the buildings on the campus are extreme in their design (like this one)
