I believe it's a pay to play rag. He who spends the most on advertising gets a bigger piece of the pie. Actually, I have a subscription.

exactly. half the magazine or more are ads. ive stopped reading them for many years. I dont even go to their website. they arent relevant today in my eyes. I get any info from the net.

Only photography magazine I read is N-Photo. Mostly because it focuses 100% on Nikon. And third-party stuff. Means it filters out every brand I don't care about. Good reviews, tips, and a free DVD very issue with several video tutorials.
