$300 Price Drop on the Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro

I have and love this lens. It was worth what I paid for it when I got it, but it's a steal now at $669, which may explain why it's back-ordered everywhere. But, if you're looking for a macro and can't wait for it to come back in stock, I'd consider jumping on this.

Not sure if this points to a new macro getting released by them, but the old one is a winner.

I have the older non OS version and am more than happy with it. I think it's just a fabulous lens.
But I'd also like to get my hands on their 150 macro... I've seen shots done with that lens that blew my mind off. But it sells for a lot more money.

A macro is a great lens to have since it can also serve as a portrait lens, thanks to digital filtering (it's just too sharp sometimes ).

I just put my 105mm on my D7100 when I want a 150mm.

About to buy this actually! have been wanting a macro lens for at least 3 years! B&H photo has it also on sale.
