Thanks, Mike. This lens is perfect for a zoo trip. Tamron 150-600, which is a favourite wildlife lens on this forum, is probably too long. Animals in a zoo are usually closer than in the wild.

Set of good photos. The most interesting is the lion, in my opinion - looks as if it is actually the picture of him printed on the wall. The penguin is kinda unusual, too.

I didn't notice that, but now, when you said that... I guess it is a framing effect of the lion fitting exactly within the green rectangle.
