Anything different after updating firmware?

For those who have updated the latest firmware on the D7000, have you noticed anything different in your camera's operation? Just wondering before I do the update. Thanks.

Most of the time you may never notice anything different. I updated my D7000 but don't remember noticing anything different. I would still update if I were you though. I always keep all my cameras updated.

There are stories about that Nikon have done some not so nice things in updates,i read somewhere that one guy after updating his V series his Tamron lens wouldn't work,its difficult to substantiate these story's but always worth taking the time to ask if you use other than Nikon lenses.

the update seems to be just for updating the lens database for vignetting, distortion correction. i see there is the same update for my D7100 but I do the correction in post.

Yes but they are never going to say this update stops Tamron or sigma lenses working
