This is Pam Shriver at the Dupont Championships at Amelia Island FL in1989 I believe. Taken with the F2S w/ MD-2/MB-1 and the 300mm f/4.5 AIS on a monopod and High Speed Ektachrome film ASA 160. I processed all of my own film (not as hard as you might think, but slide film has more steps than negative film and the developer and color developer had to be 100º +/- 1/2º F - water bath!) and never mounted them. This made printing and later, scanning a whole lot easier!

Those tourneys were a lot of fun to go watch and shoot. It was both men and woman but only American players.

Sometimes I pushed that Ektachrome all the way to 320! :)

That's a great shot!

I tried that one time and your ±0.5 stop latitude basically went to zip point zip point zip and the grain, which was normally pretty tight, became very noticeable in out of focus areas.
