Talk about getting bad, spent the afternoon doing a good cleaning on the camera bodies and lenses, topped it off with firmware updates for both. Woooohooooooo!

I do have some shooting to do this week and have neglected the gear lately.

Yeah, tell me about it. I eat, sleep, and breathe this stuff. Daily schedule:

Wake up, check daily photo shoot schedule. Check newspaper assignment schedule.
Load up the gear.
Shower.
Check Nikonites.
Do photo shoots, edit images, perform backups, etc.
Check Nikonites.
Read photography-related blogs, RSS subscriptions.
Revise next day's photo shoot schedule.
Do homework/read books for photography degree.
Clean gear if needed, charge batteries, etc.
Check Nikonites.
Sleep. Sometimes.
Repeat.

I didn't touch my camera at all yesterday, and that is a rarity these days!

lol.I had to laugh. Anthony's sounds so much like my "schedule", apart from the newspaper assignments stuff. :)
Wake up (whenever)
Breakfast - coffee, meds, toast, another coffee, read newspaper.
Head out to garage for my after breakfast smoke.
Go downstairs to my man den/computer/photography room, check Nikonites
Check email for important stuff, jokes, etc.
Check Nikonites again, edit and correct spelling and grammar in posts, check for any spam that may have slipped through.
Go out to garage for another smoke/nap.
Back in to check on Nikonites.
Continue to wait for spring to really kick in (still some snow on the ground here)
Look over camera gear, see if there is anything else I need as far as gear goes.
Check Nikonites.
About Midnight, go out to garage for my final smoke break, possible nap.
Come back in, check Nikonites one more time for anything late breaking.
Go to bed
Repeat. :)

I am very envious of you guys and girls, I get up have coffee and head off to work (planning, web support and IT support) wish at least 4 times a day that I had a camera with me, drink more coffee, head home, cook, eat watch a bit of TV while surfing the 'net and keeping an eye on Nikonites :) Then off to bed for a sleep before repeating the same procedure for 5 days a week! LOL I work on a site where cameras are banned so as much as I would love to be able to look out to sea and capture that sunset I would be sacked (possibly arrested too :( ) But then its the weekend and there will be gigs and soon festivals for me to cover. Its not a bad life but some of your posts have made me a little jealous :)
