I dont think i believe this

It probably is not impossible, it says it means "Manufacturer refurbished: An item that has been professionally restored to working order by a manufacturer-approved vendor. This means the product has been inspected, cleaned and repaired to meet manufacturer specifications and is in excellent condition.".

Being generous, that possibly might have happened. It does not say when? Are there better deals today? Probably yes.

I think I'd be more concerned that that seller has never sold anything and has no feed back, rather than whether that camera is manufacture refurb'ed... Nikon is certainly refurb'ing older, out-of-production cameras... I'm getting a Nikon refurb'd D300 tomorrow...

I can pick one of these up for NZ$150.00
Sounds like a good deal but I know nothing about the camera. would it be a good fit with my D5100 as a second body or am I better off buying glass?
