I agree with you Jack. It does have some unique features which may appeal folks seeking them, outside of the D7000's sensor, there isn't much that interests me either. I was anticipating more features of the D7000, but this does not appear to be targeted to the more traditional photographer. To me it's just a D3100 with more bells and whistles, kinda like cell phones nowadays, how many gadgets can you stuff into it so it is more marketable.
