Processing a B&W image.

Do you guys process your color image before taking it to B&W, or do you convert it first and then do your processing?

Most times I process the color version first and then tweak it in B&W, but sometimes I just convert first and then do all my processing.

I process in color.... seeing what is the best color image I can create... then I create a copy and begin work on the B&W..
