Damage to D3100 lens casing

Hi All, I am a newbee. My D3100 fell down (twice) and now the lens (AF-S NIKKOR 18-55 mm) has some play. I can fell that it is loose when I tilt the camera ie, when I tilt the camera I feel a single tremor as the lens shits against the casing. Also when I take a picture I can see a slight shif in the view finder after a second or two. The quality of the inages, as far as I can tell, remains unaltered.
I bought the camera 3 months ago from BestBuy.

What are my best options here?

Welcome to the site :)

If you don't have any kind of extended insurance on your camera than the best option is to replace the lens. You can find them pretty cheap used on ebay. If you go that route make sure to get the VR version
