Alan's Maine Meanderings

Vacation time. Taking a trip to Maine to do a little R&R and play tourist. Only took about 300 shots in the last two days so I figured I would post some here. May not post a whole lot right now as my internet is a little slow where we are staying. If anyone else lives or has been to Maine feel free to post them here as well.

First the standard Postcard shots, Portland Head Light and a Fishing Harbor in Phippsburg.

Yes, enjoy yourself Alan and do not confine yourself to the coast, if you can help it. Side trips to places like Sabbath day Lake can be quite interesting.

A couple more lighthouses from Portland.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Having fun so far and it's only day two. This is yesterdays lunch, Lobster on a half shell, and last nights diner. We got the lobster right off the wharf as the boats arrived, not much fresher than that.

Made our own tour. We have seen eight around here so far. Might go see a couple more depending on upcoming plans.

Took a short walk along the coast this morning. Short because tough walking on the rock ledges.

Excited to see the rest of your pics. Im heading there this fall to get me some nice colorful autumn pic
