Af Fine tuning D600

Hello,

I recently checked my Nikon 35-70 2.8d lens for focus accuracy. And found that at 35mm @2.8 it is very sharp and focus is very good. However, at 70mm 2.8 it seems to front focus a bit. I am using a chart and method here. Jeffrey Friedl's Blog Jeffrey Friedl's Blog » Jeffrey?s Autofocus Test Chart
Would it be recommended to adjust the focus? Or just leave it be.

I would adjust it to your most used focal length. Zooms create a compromise in such situations, sometimes defeating itself; although a good zoom with no issues should not display this inconsistency.

adjust the front focus and then id recheck the focus accuracy at 35mm (and 50 while youre at it) to see if there isnt any affect on them from the adjustment of the 70mm

btw, thank you for the link. very informative. I think ill take some time to adjust all my lenses as well.
