I read in the manual I suppose..Don't remember exactly
It said in HDR mode you can snap only once...after the shot the mode is disabled..so for the next shot you will have to select the hdr mode again !!

Hi, I am using HDR function when taking JPEG pictures. Every time the picture is taken, my d5200 defaults to HDR=off. Is there a way of preventing that? Lets say I want all my JpEGs to be HDR=High

Have tried selecting HDR on (series) as your selection?
