D610 with 14-24 2.8

Although I had to return my D810, I went out with my D610 and the 14-24 2.8 and was pretty pleased with the results.

Thanks for sharing ... that's a combo I've been interested in myself. I keep trying to decide how much the OLPF affects the D610 compared to the D800e/D810, but I'm starting to nit pick things just looking for a way to rationalize a more expensive body.

Charlie, I see you're using the D5300, a fine body. I had one and the photo quality was outstanding but the issue I had with it was with the viewfinder. I just found it was not bright nor clear enough for my 61 year old eyes. The D610 is much better and the D810 is the best I've ever used. As far as D610 and D810 comparisons, there are many differences but both are really great bodies and work really well with the 14-24 zoom being FX format, which is the most obvious difference with the D5300.
