I am looking to get into Portrait photography. I took these pictures with my D7000. The pictures at an old plantation is with 50mm for some and 70-200 on others. On the water area, was at a hotel with a nice pool area, those were with the 50mm. First and last were in back yard with 70-200mm. all photos were edited in lightroom. None are cropped. All hand held. I know Blurry to eyes on most. Still working on that. Can't figure out AF-fine tune. But getting better.

I think you have a knack for it. Keep on shooting.

I like the composition and most of the lighting.
Agree though that you need to get closest eye absolutely focused.
For me some of the busy albeit blurred backgrounds are a bit of a distraction.
