P7000 Self-Timer - Repeated Shots?

I use the self timer with the ML-L3 Remote...usually with a 2-sec delay.

Works great but the remote function has to be reset after each shot.

Is there a way to allow for continuous self-timed shots?

Thanks!

The P7000 manual is online: http://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/noprint/P7000_ENnoprint.pdf

Looks like no DC2 connection.

Page 36 and 39 says one picture, and then timer turns off.

However, bottom of 39 says (in regard to the timer):

Note on the Remote Control

When shooting with Continuous or BSS, or the Sports or Museum scene mode, press the shutter-
release button to shoot. Press the send button on the remote control to shoot one picture at a time.

Without being able to experiment, I don't know what that means, but the shutter button sounds worth a try? Museum says "no flash" and Sports is surely faster shutter speed.

Tried Continuous & BBS modes but the timer still turns off after 1 shot...same with the Museum Scene mode.

The Sports Mode does not permit delayed shooting.

If I set it to the 'no delay' mode of Remote shooting, it does not turn off.

But than I lose the advantage of a 2-second or 10-second delay.

Strange that Nikon built it this way.
