Black screen in lv mode

Hi, when i try switch my d3200 in to live view mode camera stops working and shows black screen. To be able turn it on again i have take battery out and then it shows message: 'error. press shutter release button again.' Any ideas why? Thanks.

I'll tell you what I told another Nikonite.....try the 2 button (green dots on the buttons) reset. That will or should get you back to close to the original settings on the camera.

D3200 do not have a 2 button reset option. I did resets on a menu, but problem still there.

Welcome to Nikonites! Sorry I'm not sure what would cause that.

Did you have the micro USB cable attached to camera (and to a computer)?

it happens when i'm using it. Spoke to nikon support and they suggested to send camera to them, so will do that see what they have to say. Thanks for your answers anyway, i'm glad i found this forum
