New to the forum. I just got a D5200 and I'm using it for video work. Still figuring a few things out. For one thing, when I manually set the volume of the mic, and then begin to record, rather than see levels bouncing up and down in the LCD monitor, I just see the icon of a little microphone and the number to which I set the level. At one point, I suddenly did see the levels--don't know what I did, but I was relieved. But now it's gone back to just showing the number. I should know how to change this setting, but I can't find it in the manual, in the menu, or on-line anywhere. Anyone know how to do this?
