Low Light shots

Yesterday I went to a concert of Indian Classical Music. I took the 35mm F1.8 DX as I wanted to see how the images come out if taken without the flash, as at many concerts flash are not allowed (though here it was).

ISO 1600

Though noise is evident after ISO 400, it is not all that much, and the images are passable at least till ISO 1600.
Here are the full images

Nice shots ! Did you edit the colour ?

I did the following, using Nikon View NX-D beta
. Adjust the levels in D-light
. Change the white balance from default to incadescent
. Crop
. Noise reduction - best
. Lense distortion correction

As such I have found the colour coming out of the Nikon camera quite accurate. The yellow-red tinge is because of the hall lighting. If I us "fluorescent 3000k", then the yellows become whiter (as they would be in day light).
