Light Painting

Got some colored LED finger lights (a kid's toy) a while back and finally got around to checking them out. This shot is with five on one hand and moving my hand around during the 4 second exposure. D600, 24-70, ISO 100, f8. Shot in my studio, where my camera stuff shares space with my drums and guitar/amp. I thought this shot looked like a treble clef. Comments welcome and feel free to share yours.

Looks great! I also like how the light seems more concentrated. It doesn't seem to let off enough likght to really light you up too.

I like it. It's right up my alley with the pure black background and vibrant colors. I'm interested to see if you experiment with rate of movement and perfecting the motion. Sorry if I steal it... but I think I'll have to try this one. ;)

Depending on focal length I would say either focus locked on an object then hit the switch. Or hyperfocal distance.
