Received my new Fish eye lens. Pretty happy with it so far. I hope to do some star shots tonight and then some cool photos at Virginia Tech next week. The build quality is solid. Still figuring out the aperture settings. More details after this next week.

you got the one with the aperture chip on the mount? otherwise its just a PITA to use. you have to go into the menu change it to use aperture control by lens ring instead of command dial. then taking pictures require shooting and then adjusting. a lot of trial and error. with the chip, you lock it into the last aperture, use the command dial and it stops it down to the aperture and it meters with it. although for me it seems to expose about 1/2 stop more, no matter what im shooting.

Yep, you set the lens ring once and then everything works on the camera for setting everything. Highly recommend the one with the chip.
