International Space Station transits the moon 08/04/14

Took this pass over last night and in my hurry to walk down to the river I forgot my cable release. Big mistake. Didn't have time to walk back and get it, so I got shaky lines from pressing the shutter.
18 frames at 10 secs ISO 640 f/4. Moon is obviously blown out due to long exposure and a plane came along. Damn. But I was determined to get the transit of the moon so stuck with what I had.

Interesting. It proves that sometimes, technically not-so-impeccable photos can be very amusing...
