Fountains Abbey

Hi All,
I visited Fountains Abbey at the weekend, a 12th century abbey and mill in Northern England. It was the perfect chance to test my new Sigma 8-16mm wide lens... Until the rain started cutting the visit short! Still, I live near by so can visit again soon.















I love how wide the Sigma goes... But that front element does catch rain drops.... And they show on the pictures, as you can see in the 5th picture near the top right of the arch...

Looks like a nice place and that lens is a keeper.
