105mm F2.8 AIS

I have started using this lense which was acquired more than 4 years ago and used by my son on the D300. Here are shots with the 24MP D3300. Focus, Aperture and the speed are all manual as the D3300 does not meter with this lense. Even the flash is in manual mode!

As my hands shake, I use a flash to "strobe" and remove the jitter.

They look good.

Thanks. It was quite a feat, hands shaking and a slight breeze on.

Very nice pictures, it shows that a good lens will always be a good lens if it is looked after properly!

This is a great lens. I had one of the original copies with a metal hood and old style lens caps (with little metal balls). It's a legacy lens, for sure.
