Portmeirion - Wales

Sorry I spelt he name incorrectly first go.

Designed and built by Sir
Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village!
Its looking a bit aged now but is still a popular place to visit in Wales.

Its an amazing place the weather yesterday wasn't brilliant but there were still quite a few people looking around.
I am old enough to remember watching the TV program called "The Prisoner" which was filmed there.

Ah yes, I forgot the Prisoner was filmed there! Hopefully I'll be back that way soon, my wife is half Welsh & from Chester, so we often head over that direction and into north Wales.

Sorry about the spelling my mistake. I am English after all !

Its not fake its real and many thousands of people enjoy visiting.
Its a place visitors will remember! and is very enjoyable.
Yes, its out of character with the rest of North Wales but thats part of the attraction. Its out of character with the whole of the UK its unique.
You don't seem to appreciate it - thats your call.
