Battery life - S8100

Hi all, just curious if I should let the battery run down before charging, or if it doesn't matter and I can just charge up before heading out the door with it. BTW I really like the S8100 so far. Very nice camera for the type that it is.

It really shouldn't matter, the current chargers will not overcharge it and the current battery technology will not have a "Memory" cycle of the charge. Very nice camera you have, please post up some of your shots.

PS: when I head out for a shoot I charge allmy batteries up so I have a charged batch to work from, I have multiple batteries..

Hi and welcome to the Nikonites Community. Bill is right on. There should not be a problem charging the Nikon battery even if it's still got some charge in it. I also do like Bill and charge all my batteries just before going out for a shoot. The S8100 is a good camera we would like to see some of your shots.
