I'm getting email notifications again

I'm getting email notifications again starting this morning.

Its strange though as I have always gotten emails from @Marcel 's thread but no one elses

When the email notifications stopped Marilynne told me how to click on settings tab to see all the new posts. Now that I have tried that way I like it much better than the email method. Is there a way I can turn off the email notifications and still ge them by using the settings tab? I looked through the options and didn't see how to do it. If I could just receive them under the settings tab that would be great!
