D70 - CF1 or CF2 or both?

Picked up an old D70 following the demise of my D80 and am wondering about the cards. The D70 uses CF cards, but will it take CF 1, 2 or both? The reason im asking is that I would like to buy an adapter so that I can use normal SD cards, and the CF2 to SD adapter is half the price of the CF 1 to SD.

answered my own question. takes both versions 1 and 2.

you're welcome. it seems to be a bit of a minefield however. The sd card has to go into the adaptor completely otherwise the camera door wont shut, and other adaptors don’t seem to be recognized by the camera. If anyone has experience using this kind of adaptor and can recommend a model which will definitely work it would be appreciated.
