ISO's, film speed's, f-stops. Last night I took my DSLR to the local panto. I was worried as flash photography was not allowed so I set it up and with my 200mm zoom lens on a tripod (In quiet mode) I got some really good pics from the back of the hall.

Some were grainy but the majority of the 550 photos I took came out fine, here is some below.

Very nice pictures.

There is a fear of pushing the ISO up. However, you can go quite high in ISO if... if you get a good exposure. Dark underexposed photos will make noise very visible. Properly exposed really cleans up and chases away the noise. Then, just like Hippie said, a little raw noise reduction and you have a great shot.

Again, well done!
