ARTICLE: How LED Streetlights Will Change the Look of Night Photography

i wanted to share a link to a really interesting article and examples on PetaPixel of how images with street lights will change with LED's.

A really interesting article. Street lights in the UK (and I guess most of the world) are now switching over to LED. From an aesthetic and environmental (and tax payer) perspective, I have to say I like the new look. In the article you linked to, the second wide angle picture of LA at night shows a much greater contrast, and the night sky is a lot darker! There's nothing to be done to stop it happening (if you don't like it), but perhaps getting those clear night-sky pics will now be a little easier. Thanks for posting the link.

Interesting. I guess MI is a little behind in the switch, lol.

I presume the one to the right is with LEDs? I prefer the one to the left.
