Finally made my mind up.

OK After reading up and reserching the last couple of weeks a decent Macro lens I have finally decided, due to budget the Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 Lens.
Anyone got any close up Macro shots to post up from this lens??
Now please forgive me but the Qeustions will come as I am Beginner in DLSR,s.

First Qeustion is. I have ordered from Digitalrev, done a bit or research on them too and seems quite a few people on here have had no problems with them, so fingers crossed my lens should arive in a week or so.

Seems like a mixed bag, although the major problems are warranty and cuctoms.
Products and delivery seem very good.
Will post results of progress with my order as and when.

I believe Scott uses the Tamron 90mm macro. You might want to check with him.

Excellent lens. You might go by the Spider thread -- all mine were taken with it, as were (pretty sure) Scott Murray's.

How much did you pay for it, and is it brand-new? My version of this lens is this one: Tamron SP AF90mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1

I bought one of my lenses through Digitalrev, I had a happy transaction, no issues.
I hope I dont have to test out their warranty to find out what its like, fingers crossed.

I think you will be happy with the Tamron, I have seen lots of great photos taken with that lens.

This is the one I am getting. Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 Lens--DigitalRev Looks the same to me.

That's a remarkably low price -- along the lines of what you'd pay used. Hmmm.

Recieved Lens today, Ecellent service, Would Highly Recomend Digitalrev to anyone wanting to buy new gear.

I am a Complete beginner so Now I need to learn how to use it, Right settings, light, ect, ect.
