Need a Monopod and Head

Well I don't have a monopod and usually I don't miss having one. I'm thinking I will pick one up though for when I do need it.

I'm a tall guy (190cm or 6" 3") and it isn't going to see heavy use. Any suggestions for a make/model and head to go with it that won't break the bank but do what I need it for?

Do you do ebay? there are quite a few for sale there, just google monopod ebay.

There's also Free Kijiji Canada Classifieds | Free Ads | Petites Annonces Gratuites . Hopefully there's one not too far from you. Always good deals to be had online.

Thanks but I'm not looking for where to find one, I'm looking for an inexpensive but sturdy brand and model. Unfortunately it's mail order only for me so I can't look/compare/try before I buy.

If you're looking for inexpensive, I still say LinkDelight is the best place. You can't beat their prices for what they offer, and it's mail order.
