Newbie here from CA!

Hey everyone! I'm new to both this forum and the DSLR world. I have no experience in DSLRs so excuse my crummy shots for now! Hope to learn more as I play around with my camera. Just bought a basic D3100, nothing fancy. I have both a 18-55mm VR and 55-200mm VR lens.

Thank you! I don't have much in terms of lens, flashes, etc. Only have one DSLR and two lenses but I have put those on my profile now.

Nothing wrong with your setup; you'll be taking some great shots in no time! Welcome to the forum! When you get ready to buy a flash, take a look at some of the aftermarkets; I got a Sunpak and couldn't be happier! It's like magic, that TTL metering just works and the zoom/bounce feature makes it easier still!

Thanks again guys! Yes I'm looking into some aftermarket items because the OEM stuffs are pretty expensive.
