Decided to purchase the Nikon D90 after using a friends

Any suggestions as to where to buy on Long Island and is there a difference where the camera is made, just curious.

B&H Photo is another reputable dealer. They are in midtown Manhattan, NY. Both Adorama and B&H have competitive prices and excellent customer service so you can't go wrong with either one. I'm guessing that your question about where the camera is made is in regards to the gray market. Both Adorama and B&H are Nikon dealers and I don't think they sell any Nikon equipment from the gray market.

I got my D90 from Amazon.com, It was the best price at the time. Shop around.

I got my D90 from Circuit City when it closed in our town, the kit with lens was about $900. I wasn't planning on upgrading at the time, but I'm glad I did.

Mine was made in Thailand.
