Sensor Cleaning - D800E

Well tonight due to it being wet/dark and boring I have decided to do some sensor cleaning on my D800E. I will be using a Giotto rocket blower and lensen sensorKlear Loupe and pen. I will post photos of the process.

This is the kit, but I ma not using the provided blower as I do not think its as good as the Giotto.











After a few wipes and blowing out the sensor is once again clean.

Good stuff Scott. I clean my camera sensors too but have not tried it with D800e yet.

You can actually see the dust. I have not been able to take a good photo of what you actually see, am working on that

Thanks! wasn't sure if they were more of a gimic. Would come in handy for my dust magnet, the D600

Here is a photo of looking through the loupe. Can you see the 2 spots of dust?

I do see 2 white specks.

Thats dust on the sensor.
