ISO boosted one notch at the top (from 6400 to 12800) and one more fps coming from the D3200. I don't see a reference to EXPEED4 on the older model, so you may likely expect a boost in image processing and quality. Don't know if that justifies almost $100 more in price.

One thing I did notice is that they moved the microphone from top left to top right. This makes no sense to me in that it might just get covered by a hand/finger in some cases, particularly when hunting for the video on/off button, while it almost never would have gotten covered on the other side. Nothing to get excited about, particularly given the price increase.
