Engadget seems to favor Nikon

erm, I dunno. I think the only freebies they got there was from borrow lenses. They don't normally promote Nikon anywhere else.

Ya, Engadget is a pretty big player in the gear review game...they don't need to bat eyelashes at Nikon to get freebies or demo units.

Guys, Don't you get it? First you say that the majority of cameras were Canon. This implies minimal hands on with the newest Nikon stuff and max hands on with the newest Canon stuff. Then you say that Engadget is a pretty big player. They chose Nikon to promote even to the point of saying that they, Engadget, are "Nikon Centric".
My first thought is that Canon ain't giving the freebies like Nikon. Right or wrong, it seems to me to be an un-official buy out.
Of course, I have this innate distrust of product journalists. For instance, check the outcome of the past 25 years of Motor Trend's "Car of the Year".

Just my 2 cents.
