A quick question...

Good morning. I have a doubt regarding the upgrade I´m about to do... Having a AF-S lens (which may be a bit out of focus), on a body with a built in motor, how will it focus? With the body motor, or the lens motor?

AF-S lenses always will auto-focus using their built-in motor.

Thank you. That´s what I was affraid of...

Some of the more advanced bodies have auto focus fine tune if you are trying to correct a little front or back focus.

I thought about that possibility also... Nikon asks $200 for the realignment...

Same said another way, AF-S lenses do not have the linkage mechanism to the camera internal motor.
